19C Russian Silver Icon The Joy to All Who Sorrow in Kiot

Stunning 19th-century Russian Orthodox Icon The Joy of All Who Sorrow. 

The icon with repousse silver riza and gilt silver halos. The riza hallmarked on the lower left and halo Moscow, 84, 1870, assayer mark A.C, makers mark ИЗ.

The icon inserted in giltwood, gesso frame, and wooden kiot.

Size: Icon - 10 1/2" x 8 3/4" ( 27 x 22,5 cm ),

Kiot - 20 1/2" ( 52 cm ) height,  13 3/4" ( 35 cm ) width,  3 1/2" ( 9 cm ) height. 

Condition: the icon is in very good condition, the giltwood frame with some age craquelure and old restoration.
