A fine antique Russian silver-gilt cloisonné enamel box, Moscow, circa 1890–1910. Elegantly decorated with a vibrant turquoise ground of intricate scrolling ornament, framed by bold red and white geometric borders and centered with a richly colored floral medallion. The crisp execution and rich color palette reflect the high level of Moscow enamel workshops of the Imperial period.
The interior is fully gilt, providing a warm contrast to the vivid enamel exterior. Marked with 88 silver standard and Cyrillic maker’s initials “НА”, attributed to Nikolai Andreev.
