Pair of 19th-century neoclassical style porcelain vases. The bodies have a matte black finish decorated with gilt foliage and scrollwork patterns. Each vase features a hand painted portrait within a gold medallion, one depicts a man in profile wearing a historical warrior helmet, and the other depicts a woman adorned with a headdress. The terracotta color neck painted with floral decor and high glazed. The side large handles are sculpted as dolphins with a green glaze. The front and back animal masks also in green glaze. All of the masks with metal ring. Mounted to the porcelain faux marble bases.
