Early 19C Russian Silver Empire Style Basket Bowl

Beautiful early 19th-century Russian Silver Empire Style Candy Basket.

The footed service basket with a moved handle with monogram initials. 

The lobe style body decorated with an embossed flower pattern on the rim. 

The handle is supported by two birds on each side.

The interior of the basket is gilded.

Hallmarked inside. Hallmarked inside, outside, and handle for St. Petersburg, 84, dated 1827, assayer initials M.K, maker  Modig.  Size: 8" ( 20 cm ) height with handle, 3 3/4" ( 9,5 cm ) height  without handle, 7" ( 18 cm ) length,  5 1/8" ( 13 cm ) width.  

Weight 305 gm.
