Large Antique French Sterling Silver Pitcher

Beautiful Large French Sterling silver Water Pitcher Jean E. Piforcat. Early 20th century.

The body of the pitcher chased with a winged creature and foliate scrolls.

The large upswert handle with the beard mask. Raised on pedestal foot with band of shells. Each side with mounted multicolor agate stone.

Hallmarked on top lip and on the underside with Jean E. Piforcat marks.

Size: 16 3/4" ( 42,5 cm ) height,  9 1/2" ( 24 cm ) width. Weight 1220 gm ( 39.2 toz )
