Large Antique Russian Silver Box Bogatyr

Antique Imperial Russian Silver Lidded Box. The box cover casted with Bogatyr and Mermaid scene. The box rectangle shape on four ball feet, gilded interior.

The front of the box with engraved crowned eagle, possibly city coat of arms. Hallmarked on underside and lid with Moscow, kokoshnik, 84, makers initials DN ( Dmitri Nikolaev ).

Size: 4 1/2" ( 11,5 cm ) length,  3 3/8" ( 8,5 cm ) width,  2 3/8" ( 6 cm ) height. Weight 295 gm.

Condition: very good.
