Pair Antique French Louis XVI Mahogany Gilt Bronze Marble Bouillotte Tables

A handsome matching pair of antique French Louis XVI style bouillotte tables, finely crafted in mahogany and mounted with gilt bronze.

Each table retains its original circular gray marble top with striking white veining, surrounded by an elegant pierced gilt-bronze gallery. The circular mahogany frieze is fitted with a single curved drawer with a gilt-bronze pull and accented along the lower edge with gilt-bronze molding.

Raised on four slender tapering fluted legs with classical carved details at the tops, each terminating in a gilt-bronze sabot.

Beautifully proportioned and elegant, this matching pair combines the refined neoclassical lines characteristic of the Louis XVI style with richly figured original marble and finely detailed gilt-bronze mounts.
