19 century round gueridon featuring a marble top. The green verde antico marble is ringed by a gilt bronze rim decorated with intertwined foliage on a dark blue background. Women's mask heads are placed at the top of each of the slender table legs. The top of each leg is decorated with a foliated, gilt bronze capital, and a spiral of flowers descends each leg, which ends in a hoof. A gilt bronze strut connects the legs and is intricately sculpted with acanthus leaves, a crown of laurels, and a pine cone.
