Superior Antique French Russian Gilt Ormolu Enamel Vanity Parfum Box

Superior Antique French Gilt Bronze Ormolu and Enamel Vanity Box with two Parfum Bottles. Each bottle square glass with a gilt bronze top decorated with miniature pictures of Russian city  St. Petersburg,  Alexander Column, is standing in the middle of Palace Square, the second The Peterhof Palace and Gardens. Both pictures are under original glass. The bottles with original glass stoppers. The gilt bronze mounted box on four ornate legs, black enamel background with green leafy ornaments all around, silver and gold leaves, and flowers around the edges.  The arched box cover is in the same style with large hand painted floral oval plaque on the middle. The inside floor of the box original velvet with square seats for bottle placement. The silk lining was replaced with the same color silk because the original completely crumbled.

Size: Box - 4" ( 10 cm ) height, 7 1/2" ( 19 cm ) width,  5 1/2" ( 14 cm ) depth. Bottles - 2" ( 5 cm ) height, 1 1/8" x 1 1/8" ( 3 x 3 cm ) square.  Original key with tassel.

Condition: very good.
